Hong Kong Island is well known for it’s famous skyline, business district and big brand shopping. The Central ferry piers are located on the north side of the island – the city side. There’s a number of large malls, markets, cinemas, restaurants, galleries and more – many a convenient walk from the pier – with further options in Wan Chai and Causeway Bay. Moving toward The Peak, Mid-levels provides a slightly quieter, residential mountainside. Just out of city reach, Hong Kong has a wide selection of international kindergartens, primary and secondary schools.
Crossing over the mountain, the South Side includes two golf clubs, beaches, Ocean Park and the ever-popular Stanley market and sea-front promenade adorned with western-style restaurants and bars.
